PT 8:30am - 3pm

$14.50/hr with the potential of full time conversion and raises based upon performance.
This is an essential job which supports the processing of mail for Texas Health and Human Services. Each day this facility sorts, scans, files and processes all incoming mail under their contractual obligations with the state. This facility provides an essential and repetitive service for the State of Texas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepping documents received from clients to prepare for scanning and imaging by performing the following tasks:
• Remove staples, paper clips and fasteners.
• Straighten folded corners and repair torn edges.
• Review documents for issues (i.e. poor originals, items that can’t be scanned).
• Place & adhere items on separate sheets of paper.
• Assemble group documents in the appropriate order.
• Insert file header sheets and document separator sheets.
This is a high-volume, fast-paced position that requires someone with great attention to detail who can work quickly while maintaining quality of work and meet daily production. Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately.
Excellent reliability and punctuality.
Qualifications:
· Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
· Must demonstrate good communication, analytical and organizational skills.
· Understanding of office systems, equipment and procedures.
