LEVITTOWN, PA — The Pennsylvania-based Giant Company will be donating 500 turkeys to a Levittown food bank in advance of Thanksgiving. The turkeys Giant will be donating to Mary's Cupboard are part of 10,000 turkeys the company will be donating to 28 food banks across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. That marks a record donation, according to the supermarket chain. Mary's Cupboard is a food pantry located at 100 Levittown Pkwy. Under the guidance of Catholic Social Services, its mission is to provide food and other basic needs for low-income households in Bucks County. In Bucks County, Giant also will be donating turkeys to New Britain Baptist Food Larder in New Britain.
