Monday – Friday 8am-4pm $15-$16 per hour Weekly Pay Local Company Job summary: • Identify and purchase metals, paper, and plastics • Stay informed of current prices • Account for all material and load trucks safely • Maintain current corporate Account • Manage material brought in by companies • Condition material in preparation of sale • Track and record payment material weight for accounts • Keep area for steel and iron clean • Use pallet jack/forklifts as necessary • Learn to drive 24-foot cube truck • Must hold a valid WI driver’s license – No CDL required • Manage equipment • Use maintenance logs to track information on vehicles and forklifts • Keep tool room in reasonably neat and safe condition • Provide training to new employees on operating equipment, identifying metals, and all other procedures to successfully manage a shop safely • Assist with training part-time and seasonal employees • Maintain a clean shop inside and outside keeping a safe shop for employees and customers • Understand on operate computer • Visual scrap software • Microsoft word and excel • Any other items deemed necessary by supervisors Summary of essential job functions: • Identify metals, operate machinery, and assist with maintenance • Tracking information for billing and invoicing • Utilize various computer programs to successfully operate and maintain shop records (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Visual Scrap software) • Maintain top notch customer service in a fast-paced work environment • Knowledge of hand tools & Operating equipment Apply on our site: Apply on Facebook:
