Toad has done NOTHING wrong in the shelter. He is struggling in his kennel and needs out or they will out him down!!
Hi, I'm Toadđž (Compatibility with dogs unknown). I am set to be euthanized March 14th, 8 am. Why am I E-listed? Simply put, STRESS!! I'm struggling BAD in my kennel. I don't get walked much here and I'm breaking down....Itâs just not humane to keep me here.....Who can save my life?
What a lover I am! and listen well too! I'm a 2-year-old, neutered, brindle and white American Pit Bull Terrier (55 lbs.). I came into the shelter as a stray. Volunteers say that I am friendly, energetic, and love pets. I will even crawl up on a lap for attention! I Love to play fetch too! I know lots of commands! When asked, I will âsitâ, âstayâ, âcomeâ, âshakeâ, and go âdownâ. I am OK with being touched all over and will even let you check my mouth. I had been at the shelter for a little over a week when I began struggling from being cooped up! I started constantly barking, jumping up against the kennel gate and biting at it. Sometimes, I canât settle enough to focus on eating my food! I must get a home out of here before I completely lose it! I need an experienced adopter or foster and a home where I can decompress, have a predictable routine, and have opportunities for physical and mental activity. I am being treated for a âdoggie coldâ and am on the mend. It is recommended that I meet the entire family and have in-home training. I havenât had a chance to meet other dogs while Iâve been at the shelter; so, if there are dogs in your home, you will need the ability to separate us initially and gradually introduce. I can't imagine this is how it could end for me! I donât want to die... Will you save my life?
Love, Toad â¤
