We were given the amazing opportunity to rehome this sweet AKC pup. He came from living on a farm, being a 100% outside dog to then a family-loving, indoor dog. Unfortunately, he does not seem to be the right fit for us as he cannot stand being in a crate, while we have to go to work (for at most, 5 hours a day). He is the biggest baby and a total sweetheart. He has shown some aggression (growling, nipping, but not biting) towards our other dog when toys or bones are provided. He has improved tremendously on potty training and laying on a dog bed, versus the couch. He needs a companion who will be home all day (as he shows signs of separation anxiety), who has the time, patience, and is willing to train him properly, and preferably without another dog (or cat) in the house. Once attempting to crate him, he shows, in his own form, that he HATES it. He does not bite but will try to use his teeth to tell you that he does not want to be in there. I am devastated to even make this post, but this sweet boy needs someone who will be understandable and care for his needs 24/7. UTD on vaccinations, AKC (papers provided).
