Local AV company is currently looking for an experienced Lead Installer with at least 3 years experience in the field to join our team. The Lead Technician performs installation tasks for audio visual projects including but not limited to: pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projectors and speakers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting racks and installing speakers, controls and modules. Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints. Assist with basic mechanical fabrication and basic rack wiring. Test point to point functionality of systems. Make minor programming changes under the direction of an engineer or programmer. Responsible for job documentation as needed. Demonstrate job site leadership. Travel to various job sites as required. Effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues. Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner. Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding up to 35'. Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines. Basic computer knowledge. Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and control. Ability to manage small to medium projects. Minor programming capability (Extron/Creston) – changes and troubleshooting. Minimum of 3 years of audiovisual installation experience preferred. Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have Valid Driver’s License
