SUMMARY: Responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, property, and structure. All work will be done in compliance with OSHA safety rules and regulations. Or text/call our 24hr line at 951-312-5779 MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Follow Safety Requirements and Safety Training Program. Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment. Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines. Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts. Disassemble and reassemble various sub-assemblies including pumps, valves, manifold assemblies, etc. Document activities and dispense accurate and thorough information through computers, including the IQ system. Perform all scheduled preventive maintenance tasks. Maintain the water tower and certain central chiller systems. Troubleshoot machine problems and determine and locate the root cause of failure. Access the various proprietary-controlling systems on our equipment to assess their diagnostics or modify their performance parameters. Access repair manuals for information and to troubleshoot machinery for repair. Diagnose problems with our facility utilities, including the air handling systems for our Clean Rooms. Safely operate cranes, power tool hoists, and hand tools. Fabricate brackets and guarding using mig or stick welder. Read and interpret electrical schematics and hydraulic prints to repair equipment. Basic programming knowledge of robots and pickers. QUALIFICATIONS: o To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. o Minimum 5-years of experience as a maintenance technician in plastic injection or blow molding experience. o Must possess strong knowledge of troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. o Skilled in working with electrical systems including 480VAC and 24VDC. o Must be able to read and interpret equipment manuals, electrical schematics, hydraulic prints, and work orders to perform maintenance repairs. o Must be proficient using a multimeter, hand tools, and power tools. o Adhere to Good Manufacture Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). o Ability to read and understand English. Bilingual is a plus. o Basic computer knowledge to retrieve and close work orders (Excel, Word, etc.). o Knowledge of IQMS. MB347
