MALIBU, CA — California Highway Patrol issued two Sigalerts after two crashes Friday afternoon shut down portions of PCH and North Topanga Canyon Boulevard. Both roads were closed down for a time, but were reopened as of 7:10 p.m. Friday.
The first crash occurred at 3:28 p.m. on the 36000 block of Pacific Coast Highway, near the intersection of Mullholland Drive and across from Leo Carillo State Beach, according to Officer Brandt of the California Highway Patrol. Two lanes of the northbound PCH were closed. The Sigalert was reported as canceled at 7:10 p.m. Friday, and all lanes were reopened.
A motorcycle crash at North Topanga Canyon Boulevard and Santa Maria Road in Topanga at 5:23 p.m. caused a second Sigalert, and shut down a portion of North Topanga Canyon Boulevard. Topanga Canyon Boulevard was reopened at around 6:20 p.m., according to Brandt.
No injuries were reported.
