MALIBU, CA — Santa Monica Malibu-Unified School District is gathering feedback from the community with a survey on distance learning. The pandemic has changed what school looks like this year, with families and district staff shifting to learning and working from home. The district will offer students in middle school and high school, along with parents and teachers, the opportunity to share their thoughts on how the first several weeks of the fall semester are going. "Your feedback regarding distance learning will guide us toward making any needed improvements and duplicating successes," Superintendent Dr. Ben Drati said in a news release. Here's where to take the survey: Survey for TeachersSurvey for StudentsSurvey for Parents The deadline is Friday at 5 p.m. "We appreciate the effort and patience of our teachers, students, and parents as we navigatethese difficult times in education," Drati said. "We are all looking forward to the day when our schools can resume in-person instruction. Until then, we are committed to making the best of the current situation and appreciate your participation with this survey."
