Delivery Driver (Fedex Ground) compensation: $17 and up DOE employment type: full-time job title: Fedex Ground Delivery Driver Islandwide Courier contractor for Fedex Ground We are seeking a dependable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our busy delivery team. You will sort and route your deliveries then deliver them to customer locations around the local area. We expect you to be courteous and professional when interacting with customers. All of our delivery staff must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and be able to lift up to 75 pounds. You also must be familiar with the area to ensure you make on-time deliveries. This is a fast paced job for energetic people. Safe driving is a must following all DOT regulations. Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities: Organize your deliveries in your vehicle at local Fedex Ground facility Follow scheduled route for daily deliveries and pickups Use of iPad helps manage your route using route optimization tools Make deliveries using a handheld device to capture signatures Keep vehicle organized, clean and tidy Maintenance log for vehicle to ensure it remains in good driving condition (immediately let management know if something needs repair) Delivery Driver Requirements and Qualifications: High school diploma or GED certificate Valid current driver’s license Medical Card is a plus but not required A clean driving record with minimum or no moving violations Previous verified driving history with another company 1 year in last 3 Proficient at driving and parking large vehicles up to 14' box truck Physically fit and strong, able to lift 50-75 pounds comfortably Experience using a hand truck Dependable and Hardworking Please fax resume with verifiable delivery experience to 808-871-7870 or email Principals only.
