Baroque Orchestra of Maine performs a benefit concert with 100% of ticket sales donated to help those affected by the conflict in Ukraine. Bagaduce Music and neighboring businesses and schools on South Street, including Blue Hill Harbor School, The Bay School, Tradewinds Marketplace, Blue Hill Co-op, Mainescape, First National Bank, and First Congregational Church of Blue Hill are sponsoring a benefit concert, “Benefit Concert for Ukraine”. Heidi Powell and Max Treitler with the Baroque Orchestra of Maine will present a program for violin and cello with works by Bach, Handel and Kyiv native, Reinhold Glière. 100% of ticket sales and donations will go to the International Committee of the Red Cross and World Central Kitchen to help the people affected by the conflict in Ukraine. Suggested ticket price $40 per person. Advance ticketing is encouraged as capacity is limited to 115 people. Donations are also accepted in lieu of attendance when you visit our website. Masks are required for this performance.
