Join us as we open our hearts with ceremonial cacao and welcome in the essence of Spring! Let’s join in circle with heart-warming cacao and allow our budding hearts to bloom as we expand our capacity to love and honor ourselves. Cacao gently softens and soothes the darker aspects of life’s lessons, so our souls have an ally illuminating our inner essence for authentic growth and healing. Where may we need to guide Winter’s compost of lessons into Spring’s spaciousness for sprouting? Where may we be blocking ourselves from love and play? We’ll explore this by learning about the cacao tree, the Mayan Goddess of cacao, Ixcacao, and her role in the creation myths. We’ll drum journey to meet Chibcha Goddess, Huitaca, for her wisdom on deepening self-love, honoring true desires, and unblocking where we resist healthy-pleasure. With this ceremony you will learn how to continue communing with cacao as sacred medicine in a heart-soothing ritual at home or to enhance your experience with a simple cup alone. Sip on Peruvian cacao, with blissful heart-opening compounds, from Chi Chocolate. (It’s a very relaxing cacao! Blankets will be available for you to use but feel free to bring your own for maximum comfort.Bring special items you’d like to add to the cacao altar.Avoid heavy food beforehand, a light meal is recommended.Please arrive to the cacao ceremony about 10 min. early so we can start on-time. If you wish to bring anything that will make you comfortable please do so. The ceremony will be 75 min. About Chi Chocolate: Teresa Ulrich works with the sacredness of cacao as ‘medicine’ for soothing hearts and awakening essence. She has worked professionally with chocolate for 10 yrs., including work on a cacao farm in Fiji., where cacao trees and farmers have been her great teachers. She makes her ceremonial cacao from scratch, selecting cacao beans that contain more euphoric compounds than others for an extra blissful experience.
