The OCMA is pleased to have lined up a number of experts in their field to present attendees on the topic listed below. In this meeting participants will be able to choose from 2 of the four seminars below that are of a HR track or Operations track. There will be two seminars in the morning at 10:00AM (you chose one) and two in the afternoon starting at 1:00PM (again, you choose one). Lunch and networking will be provided in between meetings. You must purchase a General Admission Ticket to access the other meetings. One General Admission Ticket purchases a morning and afternoon seminar (total of 2) as well as lunch. Foundry Sand General Permits - Did you know Ohio EPA is proposing changes to the general permits for the beneficial reuse of spent foundry sand? And it's not all good what they are proposing! This is an afternoon meeting.Blast Cleaning - Tyler Ruffner from Ervin Industries will be on site to provide an update on the latest and greatest when it comes to blast cleaning. This is a morning meeting.Employee Retention - Jeffrey Chochran of HR Perspective and Recruiting will be on hand to discuss trends and solutions to the ever present problem of recruitment and retention for employers. Jeff will focus on winning strategies he's seen in the wake of COVID-19. This will be an afternoon meeting.OSHA Top 10 - Brent Charlton, CSP, COHC, serves as the Chairman of the American Foundry Society's Safety Committee and is Safety Director for Metal Technologies in Auburn, IN. Brent will give us the current Top 10 OSHA violations for and top regulatory issues facing foundries. This is always a worthwhile presentation. This will be a morning meeting.
