Join us for MOSSO'S VIRTUOSOS in Springfield Symphony Hall on March 26th at 7:30 pm! Featuring six of our own MOSSO musicians!! Join us for an evening filled with music as we feature six of our own musicians! From our family to yours, we truly hope you can join us for this one of a kind concert. Our own Tom Bergeron (principal trumpet) and Martin Kluger (principal timpani) will be conducting this concert! Others featured artists and works are: Tom Bergeron - trumpet; playing Haydn Trumpet Concerto in E-flat, 1st Movement Allegro Ann Bobo - flute; playing Faure Fantaisie pour Flute, Op. 79 Brian Diehl - trombone; playing Leopold Mozart Concerto for Trombone, Adagio, Menuetto, Allegro Nathan Lassell - percussion; playing Ney Rosauro Concerto for Marimba, Movements 3 and 1: Dança and Saudação Soloist The concert will open with the Allegro con spirito movement from Symphony No. 35 ("Haffner") by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and close with Stravinsky's Pulcinella Suite. We look forward to seeing you all in Symphony Hall on March 26th! ***COVID protocols: Audience members will be masked at all times while in Symphony Hall, and must be prepared to show proof of vaccination, or a negative COVID test within 72 hours of arrival in order to gain entrance. Musicians will also be masked, with the exception of woodwind players, brass players, conductors and soloists who will take rapid antigen tests the day before and the day of the concert. To encourage social distancing, audience size is limited to half the capacity of Symphony Hall. ****Wheelchair accessible entrance is on the East Columbus Ave side entrance to Symphony Hall.
