Wicomico County 4-H Presents - 4-H Winterfare Workshop March 26, from 9am to 12:00pm <span style="font-size: medium; font-family: a  Wicomico County 4-H Presents - 4-H Winterfare Workshop March 26, from 9:00am to 12:00pm Located at Christ United Methodist Church This event is open to youth ages 8-18. Cost is $15 per child. Winterfare Workshop is a fun filled half day event, that lets your child choose three different classes to experience and learn from. All classes are hands-on, through make it take it type arts and crafts, to highly interactive educational experiences. Class sizes are limited and registration fills quickly. This event is open to the public, so you don’t need to be in 4-H to participate. --Registration DEADLINE March 23 --Choose one class from each session A and B. --In some classes participants may get messy, please bring an apron or wear old clothes. --Lunch is NOT provided.  --We suggest you bring a tote bag with you to carry your items around with you. Schedule Check-in 8:45-9:00 Session A - 9:00-10:30 A1 - DUCK TAPE FUN - Learn how to make a wallet and some other fun crafts with Mrs. Nicole! A-2 - WIZARD 101 - Do you like Harry Potter and all things Hogwarts? Come decorate your own wand and other HP crafts with Mrs. Amber! Accio! A-3 - PAINT ALONG - Paint a snow globe snow family with Mrs. Dana! Customize your snowmen and even add your pets. A-4 - BEGINNER CONTEMPORARY DANCE - Want to stretch, move, & create? Join teen leader Isabel Cockey in a introductory Contemporary Dance class. True beginners & dancers of all levels welcome! No dance knowledge needed! Together, we'll learn and perform a short routine, with everyone contributing as a team! A-5- CANVAS FIBERART - Show your creative side making a fiber/fabric Collage on canvas with Mrs. Barb. Session 2 B-1 - BUCKET DRUMMING - Wanna work as a team to learn some sick beats? And customize your own musical instrument? Then join multi-instrumentalist and teen leader Elijah Cockey in a bucket drumming workshop! No musical knowledge needed! B-2 - MINI WORLD - Create a teeny tiny world in a tin with Mrs. Amber. If time permits, we can create another tin with a travel game inside. Your crafts will be great for keeping in purses, bookbags, or pockets and passing the time on trips, in waiting rooms, in restaurants, etc. B-3- FIBER ARTS MOON - Create a fiber art wall hanging with a moon frame and cotton cording macrame style with Mrs. Dana. B-4 - INDIA INK PAINTING - Learn how to use India Ink and create amazing tile or glass artwork with Mrs. Barb. B-5 - PAINT ALONG PIKACHU - Join teen leader Silas Maurer and have fun painting your very own Pikachu character and learn the art of anime painting. 12:00 pm Pick-Up
