Our next prayer breakfast is April 30, 2022, when our guest speaker will be NicoleJohnson. Please join us for our next prayer breakfast, April 30, 2022 from 9:00am to 12:00pm at Oak Lodge Conference Center in Baton Rouge. The music ministry of Mercy Beaucoup will lead us in praise and worship, we will enjoy a wonderful meal and fellowship and Nicole Johnson will share her personal testimony. Nicole Johnson was a wife and mother of two serving on staff at her local Methodist Church until God decided He had different plans for her life. After basically denying the fact that she would ever become Catholic; God called her literally in the middle of the night to do just that. Her journey to the Church wouldn’t be without trials as she fought to overcome her protestant ideas of the Catholic Church and dealing with the heartbreak of a family who didn’t understand her decision. With every trial, the Holy Spirit and our Savior were right by her side even leading her into a relationship with his Mother. Since becoming Catholic, Nicole enjoys giving her time and talents back to God by serving where God calls. She enjoys lecturing, leading VBS, teaching Bible Study and having the opportunity to serve in Magnificat. Whether it’s within her own home or at Bible Study, Nicole credits her journey to God, who never leaves those who seek him with all their heart! Nicole and her husband have since welcomed their third child into their family. Being a mother gives her a small glimpse into the love the Father has for her and for us all. Though she doesn’t claim to sound good, singing is the way Nicole feels the most connected to God, joining with the heavenly banquet of unending songs! Her prayer for each of us is that we never cease to sing our praises to our creator all the days of our life. Luke 19:40 “…I tell you, if they keep silent, the stones will cry out!”
