Luna is a wonderful, ~1 year old pitbull (mix ?). She has TONS of energy and would do best in a home with kids and a back yard OR someone who likes to run. A lot. Maybe a triathlete. She is the biggest cuddler in the world and you will never doubt just how very much she loves you. And everyone. And everything. She loves EVERYTHING. Cats, babies, ferrets, other dogs, rocks, socks, clumps of dirt, toys, balls, treats, soft places to sleep and food - every kind of food. Foods that aren’t even foods except to Luna. She loves food on countertops and tables, too. Luna came to us from a pretty terrible situation when we absolutely were NOT ready to take on a young dog but we could absolutely NOT leave her where she was. We’ve tried as hard as we could to make things work but have recently gone through an extraordinary family crises and I’m completely over my head to the point where my own health is suffering. She needs to find a home that will be patient and provide her the exercise she needs on a daily basis. That, combined with a little obedience training and love, will get you the best dog you’ve ever had. Luna has a spay appointment next week and will not go to her new home until she is fixed. She is UTD on her shots and microchipped. She is also crate trained (will come with crate) and doesn’t shed a whole lot. If you’re interested in giving her a home, please email me a little bit about yourself. I am not asking a re-homing fee but an adoption contract will have to be signed with the adopter agreeing to return her to me if they no longer desire or are able to keep her for any reason. The last thing we want is for her to end up in a shelter. Vet references and personal references preferred.
