Join us for an apple grafting workshop! A chance to see how the fruit industry gets their apple trees, and to make your own!
Ever thought about grafting your own apple trees? Not even sure what grafting is, but it sounds really cool? Attend one of our apple grafting workshops where you will learn the basic principles of grafting and practice using the omega graft technique to create two of your own apple trees! We will have 30-40 varieties of apples for you to choose from, as well as the rootstock to put them on, a way to get your baby trees home, and care instructions! Taught by USU Extension Professor Mike Pace who runs the fruit demonstration orchard at the Utah Botanical Center in Kaysville.
There are two class time options. Register for ONE ONLY (choose the correct ticket):
1. Wednesday, April 20th from 2-4 PM
2. Wednesday, April 20th from 6-8 PM
