GACOC March Evening Mixer Come Join Us LIVE and In-Person for our March Evening Mixer! You're Invited to the March Evening Mixer! THIS IS A FREE EVENT! Join us at DarkHeart Brewing, 4339 Auburn Blvd, Ste B, Sacramento, CA 95841! MIXER HOST: Who is DarkHeart Brewing? DarkHeart brewing is a microbrewery passion project headed up by Rick and Cynthia Lee and Leonard Osorio. They opened in September 2019 and have been hands-on, working owners and one of the fastest growing breweries in the Sacramento area. Focusing on classic styles, They have developed over 300 original recipes and are taking the local beer scene by storm. They produced over 175 barrels last year and are anticipated to double production this year. This pirate themed brewery is fun, innovative and has become a community center for our local residents. Rick Lee is our Brewmaster and Brewing Operations Officer. Cynthia is the GM and Events Coordinator. Leonard Osorio is the CFO and Compliance Officer. Both Cynthia and Rick are BJCP beer judges and have been brewing professionally since 2016. They started homebrewing in 2009 and were founding members of PUBS (Placer Ultimate Beer Society) which formed in 2012. Rick's beers have won numerous awards over the past 10 years. Most recently to Double Golds, two Silvers and a Bronze at the El Dorado County Fair and CCBC. DarkHeart brewing is proud to be a part of our community and support many charities. Cynthia‘s background is event planning and has come in handy through the brewery. We partner with many local charities including Shriners, Running for Rhett, Front Street Animal Shelter, local sports teams, Law Enforcement and Placer SPCA. Cynthia has been in charge of beer operations for Barktober Fest for the last seven years. We look forward to kicking off the event in October 2022. We are self distributed, just hired our first employees and are excited to be expanding and placing handles at other small businesses in the area.
