A groundbreaking documentary that brings insight to the history and impact of food deserts in Fort Wayne.
This is the third event of The Food Exodus Project, a documentary and series of community conversations intended to raise awareness about food deserts and barriers to food access within Fort Wayne’s underserved communities. It is sponsored by HealthVisions Midwest and Indiana Humanities and is free to the public.
What: A 40-minute film, including insightful interviews with community leaders and advocates, city officials, and residents who live in food desert areas. The event will also feature information tables with resources about food deserts and food insecurity; a panel discussion and Q&A.
