50cc scooter help

We bought two inexpensive 50cc scooters late last year knowing we wouldn't get much use before we took the batteries out to store on an appropriate charger indoors and locked them up for the winter. Now we're wanting to get them happily running for the upcoming warmer weather. If you're a local (in New Bedford) scooter expert, I'd like to pay you to come to my house for scooter servicing x2, please. Long term, the plan is to work on them myself, but I'm new to this, so I need a good baseline to start learning from. Thanks :)
