A Spring Bird Walk at Distant Hill on Sunday, May 8th from 8-10 AM
BIRD WALK AT DISTANT HILLYou are invited to a Spring Bird Walk at Distant Hill Gardens and Nature Trail on Sunday, May 8th from 8-10am. Expert birders Wendy Ward and Steven Lamonde will lead a bird walk through the forests, fields, and wetlands of Distant Hill. We will be looking for interesting species, as well as learning to identify the birds by their songs and calls.
Spring is the best time of year to look for birds like this Magnolia Warbler on a blooming Cornelian Cherry ! With over 100 species of birds documented at Distant Hill there ia a good chance you may see or hear a species or two that are new to you!
Registration is requested but not necessary, and Children are Welcome!
And don't worry if you are new to birding and don't have binoculars. We have extra pairs you can borrow!
Suggested Donation $10/adult
