LOCATION MAINTENANCE & REPAIR TECHNICIAN – Lake Charles, LA On-call (Approx. 3 hours per week) – Service at about six fitness locations in the Southwest Louisiana and Southeast Texas region within 75 mile radius of Lake Charles, LA. $20.00 per hour + mileage reimbursement USPS Locker location to service on occasion (preventative maintenance), approx. once a month - pays $100 a month. BASIC FUNCTION The On-call Location Maintenance and Repair Technician is responsible for service and maintenance of massage chairs at fitness club locations in the Lake Charles, LA area. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Maintenance and repair of equipment Maintain clean equipment Maintain policy and procedure expectations of the facility and Smarte Carte Maintain regular contact with District Service Manager Maintain a positive relationship with the facility management Other assignments as needed. EDUCATION Associates or Technical degree preferred SKILLS Working knowledge of equipment Electrical and mechanical equipment repair Excellent verbal and written communication Maintain accurate records Proficient in computer and Smartphone use PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Lift 40 lbs. to waist height Push/Pull 75-100 lbs. Bend and stoop, walk and stand for long periods of time Visual acuity/manual dexterity to perform mechanical and electrical repairs LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS Valid Drivers license required To service USPS location, requires the passing of a drug and background test. Experience Required Electrical and mechanical equipment repair Preferred Previous experience with route based technical repairs preferred Education Preferred Technical/other training or better in Electronics Technology or related field Licenses & Certifications Required Drivers License Skills Required Time Management Customer Service Cleaning Problem Solving Troubleshooting Communication Attention to detail Preferred Reporting Prioritizing Behaviors Required Team Player: Works well as a member of a group Preferred Innovative: Consistently introduces new ideas and demonstrates original thinking Motivations Required Self-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside help
