Description

Be in the first to know about redox biology and its applications in health and athletic performance. Join respected redox presenter Jerry White in this one hour introduction to redox signaling molecules and their applications in health, anti-aging, prevention, and athletic performance. Redox signaling molecules are a relatively recent discovery, first showcased with a Nobel Prize in 1998 in Physiology or Medicine. Since then it has captured the passion of the scientific community, and prompted the renaming of conferences, books, and university departments from a focus on anti-oxidants to redox biochemistry. These molecules are manufactured within the cells, and exist for millionths of a second. Their role is cellular communication through gene expression. A way has been found to stabilize these fleeting molecules in order to supplement the body’s own resources with astonishing results, repeatedly observed for more than a decade. Relatively new to the medical and athletic community, there is opportunity to learn about to harness this scientific breakthrough for clients and friends in a wide range of applications. Come see how this is possible. About the SpeakerJerry White has an extensive clinical background as a physical therapist as well as a background in research. He founded Gait Orthopedic and Neurological Lab at Shriner’s Hospital and was an adjunct professor of biomechanics and physiology at EWU Physical Therapy School. Starting as an avid athlete himself, he was later a coach for Olympic swim teams.
