Saturday, April 910 a.m. — Parents & Plants Session 1 Location: Sixth Street Greenhouse Cost: $24 per basket The Plant & Soil Science Club welcomes parents & families to stop by and create a beautiful potted plant basket. Each group admission includes three plants in the basket. 10:30 a.m. — Cornhole and Kettle Corn Location: Tower Lawn Cost: $15 per team Do you have what it takes to win the Spring Parent & Family Weekend Cornhole tournament? Join the Student Alumni Relations Board on the Tower Lawn to take on other families, snack on kettle corn, and watch the competition take place! 11 a.m. - Walking Tour of the Arboretum Location: Meet at the North Gate by the University of Idaho Golf Course Cost: Free Meet at the north gate next to the University of Idaho Golf Course for a walking tour of the University’s arboretum. Poor weather cancels. Noon - 3 p.m. - SArb Presents a Movie at the Kenworthy Location: Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre Cost: $5 per person Join the Student Alumni Relations Board (SArb) for a special Parent & Family Weekend screening of a movie (to be announced) at the Historic Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre in downtown Moscow. Concessions will be available for purchase. 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. — Research Tours: Polymorphic Games Location: Intergrated Research and Innovation Center (IRIC) Cost: Free Session 1: 1 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. Session 2: 2 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. The Polymorphic Games Studio is made up of undergraduate students from departments including Computer Science, Art, English, Music, Business, and Biology who are building evolutionary video games. Instead of pre-programming, scripted enemy behaviors to escalate difficulty, these games use populations of creatures that evolve - and specifically evolve to beat your strategy. 1 p.m. — Parents & Plants Session 2 Location: Sixth Street Greenhouse Cost: $24 per basket The Plant & Soil Science Club welcomes parents & families to stop by and create a beautiful potted plant basket. Each group admission includes three plants in the basket. 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. - U of I Golf Pro Clinic Location: University of Idaho Golf Course Cost: $15 per person One-hour golf clinic led by University of Idaho’s Golf Pro’s. Introduction to golf with driving range time. 6 - 8 p.m. — Parent & Family Weekend Dinner Cost: $15 per person Location: ICCU Arena, Idaho Alumni Club Hate waiting in dinner lines? We added this dinner for you! Enjoy each other’s companies or get to know other Vandal families at the Parent & Family Weekend Dinner. We will have dinner you can take with you, or you can chill and enjoy on site with game boards and other activities. 7 - 9:30 p.m. — Wine & Paint with Wild at Art Cost: $45 per person Location: Wild at Art, 118 E. 3rd Street, Moscow Doors will open at 7:00, canvas painting will begin at 7:30, and we'll wrap things up at 9:30. Light snacks, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be served. All ages are welcome, and don't forget your ID. Wild at Art is a contemporary paint-your-own-pottery and canvas painting studio located in downtown Moscow.
