Ukrainian college students & a Ukrainian / Yountville couple who fled Kiev will share their experiences, information, and how to help. LOCATION: The Dining Hall at Justin-Siena High School (4026 Maher St., Napa.) Presenters: The Minerva University, college seniors studying in San Francisco who will join us are: ANASTASIYA TOKAR, from Poltava, UkraineVICTORIA STEPANENKO, from Dnipro, Ukraine "Zooming" in from Warsaw, Poland to join us are: AARON STARR: grew up in Yountville, taught math and social studies at Justin-Siena, and spent much of the last four years working in Kyiv. ANNA SATINA: grew up in Kyiv, graduated college there in 2021 and now teaches English. More about the presenters and their topics: Victoria (Vika) and Anastasiya (Nastya) are part of a network of 300 Ukrainians across the globe and 800 professionals volunteering in Ukraine, sharing information and addressing humanitarian needs. They will discuss what the war’s about, conditions in Ukraine, and how to help, as well as share some personal experiences. Aaron and Anna fled Kyiv when the war began and are now staying with her sister and brother-in-law in Warsaw.
