SayDoSay has the equipment, tools, materials, and instruction needed to help you discover the endless possibilities that clay has to share. SayDoSay Pottery Studio opened its doors at 1527 N. Cotner Blvd. to Lincoln and surrounding communities on February 1st, 2022. There will be an Open House event that will take place on Sunday, March 20th, from 3-6 pm. All community members are welcome to tour the space and shop the gallery. The studio offers a variety of classes, no experience is necessary. Whether you are interested in a single session, a workshop, or booking a group event, SayDoSay has the equipment, tools, materials, and instruction needed to help you discover the endless possibilities that clay has to share. Monthly memberships are also available to those who have completed a workshop. Members have unlimited access to the studio equipment during member-only open studio hours or by appointment and also have the option to sell work in the gallery. Artist and educator Mollie Leisinger founded SayDoSay Pottery Studio. She grew up playing in the mud and always has felt her best being outside in nature. Obtaining a Fine Arts degree from UNL was a fascinating adventure that led to teaching art in Lincoln Public Schools for nearly a decade. She took the leap to open up her home studio in 2020, where she created work to sell and also taught classes. It became a quick reality that classes were popular and being sought after and it was time to grow into a bigger space. The universe led her to a perfectly charming building nestled in the downtown Bethany neighborhood. She rolled up her sleeves (and those of many of her family and friends), and together they brought the space to life. The name SayDoSay is inspired by the concept of following through on what you say you are going to do. It goes like this - say what you want to do, then do that thing you want to do, then share that thing with others - that completes the Say ♡ Do ♡ Say cycle. SayDoSay is all about inspiring others to create and make their ideas come to life.
