In 2018, Vulture Magazine featured her in their report “38 Comedians You Should and Will Know.” In 2019, TimeOut LA featured her as one of the top 10 Comedians To Watch in Los Angeles. Atsuko also recently starred in her own one hour special that aired on Hulu as part of a six episode series called Comedy InvAsian. Her latest creation, “Let's Go Atsuko, A Woke Japanese Game Show,” has monthly sold-out shows in Los Angeles and is a hit weekly podcast as part of Foreverdog Podcast Network. Most recently, she has partnered with National Lampoons and Quibi to bring the televised version of “Let’s Go Atsuko” to screen. Born in Taiwan to Taiwanese and Japanese parents, Atsuko is fluent in three languages: English, Japanese, and Mandarin. When she’s not performing on stage or behind the mic, she can be found dancing on her Instagram with her grandmother or giving hot takes of the world on Twitter.​ Janesh Rahlan performs at Cobb's Comedy Club, San Francisco Punch Line, Chicago Laugh Factory and various comedy clubs across the United States.
