Woman On Waves We will celebrating the wave riding women of  Huntington Beach. It is a special event that you shouldn’t miss! A panel of surf stars who are leaders in the women’s surf movement will talk about surfing history and the state of surfing today. Women On Waves: A Cultural History From Ancient Goddesses and Hawaiian Queens to Malibu Movie Stars and Millennial Champions is a 400-year history of women’s surfing. The Orange County women in my book will be introduced and honored as well. There will be food, drinks and music afterwards.
