June 1, 2022 - June 5, 2022 - Gravel Grinders Bike Race in Portola, Ca Portola Camping Pass - Lost and Found Race 2022 Gravel Grinder   WELCOME BACK! Get a great spot by arriving early! Camping spots are first come first serve basis! Wednesday, June 1st, 2022 The City of Portola is once again offering fun and safe campsites located within the city for the Lost and Found Gravel Grinder Bike Race, June 4th, 2022! Choose to camp for one, two, three or four days during the race in a relaxed, family friendly atmosphere. City amenities include a heated pool, several amazing restaurants, basketball court, skateboard park, pump track, bike trails, volleyball, and horseshoe pit. Campground Host will be available at each campground for check in.Entree Ticket includes a free daily shower pass. Additional shower tickets $2.00 each can be purchased at the pool before 5pm each day.There will be live music on Friday & Saturday. The festivities will include Lost and Found Awards Ceremony, food trucks, beverage garden, big name entertainment band and with local vendors and more! The Under 18 Bike race will be held in the City Park after the Gravel Grinder Event.   "GRIT GRINDER” teenage race ages 14 to 17 Intense 4 laps of teeth gritting fun - with Jumps, rollers and technical single track. There will be four different kids races to accommodate all age groups up to 17. "PEBBLE GRINDER" Kids race ages 3 to13  (See YouTube video link below). For any questions.  Camping locations are "first come first serve"Wednesday and Thursday you MUST CHECK IN AT CITY HALL LOCATED AT 35 THIRD AVE- You will receive your camping and shower pass. Camping pass is required to be displayed on tent, auto or RV. Friday camping registration along with rider signups will be at Memorial Hall, 449 West Sierra Ave (Sierra Ave is Hwy 70)Campgrounds are located in various parts around the city. Both tent camping and RV camping are allowed and available in designated areas. There is no need to specify the type of camping you are booking (it is first come, first served). There are plenty of great accommodations for either RV or Tent camping. Purchase of a camping ticket is good for either RV or Tent Camping.
