Trim Tech Inc., an industry leader providing Architectural Doors, Frames and Hardware for all commercial applications, has an immediate need for a FT Driver / Material handler working in our North San Jose facility. JOB DUTIES: • Responsible for timely deliveries of products and materials to job locations throughout the Bay Area in strict compliance with job schedules. Responsible for loading and unloading products and materials in the warehouse and at job sites • Responsible for ensuring vehicles are maintained in a clean and safe operating condition and all required tie down straps and tarps are in good working order. • Responsible for daily maintenance of shipping / receiving, material stocking area, wood door department, will-call warehouse and recycling material storage area. • Responsible for the safe operation of a forklift to load and offload hollow metal, wood doors, and hardware from delivery trucks. Once material has been received by proper personnel, will put stock material in proper location in the warehouse. • Responsible for assisting customers in will-call area. This requires pulling proper paperwork, identifying and pulling the material, getting proper signatures and turning in tags. REQUIREMENTS • Must have three years driving / delivery experience. Warehouse experience desirable. • Previous experience operating a forklift is desirable. Training can be provided. • Job requires lifting or moving material up to 75 pounds. • Must be able to work independently, be self-motivated, follow instructions, prioritize work load and meet deadlines. • Must have clean DMV record. • High school graduate or equivalent • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
