Thinking about buying a home? This homebuyer course teaches about the entire homebuying process so you can be an informed buyer. Topics covered: * Budgeting and Credit Issues * Financing and Qualifying for a Home * Shopping for a Home * The Purchase Process * Closing on a Home * Life as a Homeowner Home Stretch is taught by knowledgeable professionals in the home-buying field including a certified Home Stretch educator, mortgage lender, realtor, and home inspector. You must complete the registration and intake forms (link sent with your registration confirmation) to hold your spot. Only ONE intake per household. With your paid registration, you are entitled to bring one co-buyer to the workshop at no extra cost (free). The co-buyer must register separately by selecting "Co-Borrower/ Guest" on the registration form. Upon completion of this 2-night workshop (5-9PM) and a post-survey, Home Stretch participants will receive a Home Stretch certificate (required for many first-time homebuyer lending programs). You must attend both evenings, be on time and participate in the activities of the workshop to be eligible for a Home Stretch certificate. If you are over 10 minutes late, you will not be allowed in the class. Workshop fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
