Handy-person needed for a 25-30 hour/week for rental buildings & grounds Overview: Permanent (25-30 hours/week) handyperson to perform maintenance tasks on duplexes and multi-family rental buildings in the Ozaukee Co and West Bend areas. Grounds and landscaping maintenance on residential, commercial rental building grounds and subdivision grounds. About this job: We are looking for an experienced handyperson who is self-motivated, trustworthy, quality conscience and works with a purpose. Seeking an individual with experience or someone that is motivated and willing to learn maintenance skills. Job includes maintenance tasks associated with rentals include; painting, general plumbing repair, simple electrical, appliance repair and getting units ready for new tenants. Share on-call responsibilities (rarely needed) and occasional weekend work. Grounds maintenance tasks consist of, but not limited to; mulching, mowing (zero turn), weed control (spraying & hand weeding), fertilizing, trimming trees, plantings, etc. Core competencies: • Self-directed and responsible individual that can work independently • Good general mechanical aptitude and ability to make decisions on their own • Detail oriented worker that takes pride in their work with good communication skills • Ability to learn how to operate various types of grounds and maintenance tools/equipment Benefits: • Pay $25-$30 per hour (depending on experience) • Work hours 8:00-1:00/2:00, Mon-Friday with some flexibility • Opportunity to grow into management/maintenance role • Gain experience with residential rental properties and working with tenants. • Learn the rental business with the potential own your own rental properties in future.
