We are pleased to be able to announce that this year’s Polk County Cattlemen’s Association Trade Show and Ranch Rodeo, co-sponsored by UF/IFAS Extension Polk County, will be on Saturday, May 7th. The COVID pandemic forced us to miss 2021 and, for this year, we are hosting the event later in the year. We expect to return to a February date in the future. We would like to invite you to exhibit and/or support this event. This will be the sixteenth year for our trade show and the fourteenth for our Ranch Rodeo, both of which have been a success and drawn a great crowd. The event will be held at the Bartow Horse Arena at the Polk County Agri-Civic Center at 1702 Highway 17 South in Bartow. The Trade Show will be held in the arena adjacent to the rodeo arena under a 40’x100’ tent. Admission to the Trade Show and Ranch Rodeo will be free of charge for the over 300 Polk County Cattlemen’s Association members, their households, trade show exhibitors and children ages 8 and under. All others will be charged a $10 admission fee (veterans will receive a discounted admission rate at $8). This year, the Trade Show will begin at 12pm followed by the Ranch Rodeo starting at 3pm. Important Dates and Times: Friday, April 15 – Sponsorship registration deadline (including graphics for program book ads) Friday, May 6 – Sponsor Appreciation steak lunch, 12pm (we invite sponsors to join the rodeo and trade show committee crew for lunch at the Bartow Horse Arena) Saturday, May 7: Trade Show Move in times - from 10:00 am until 11:30 am *Friday move-in available with advance notice only Trade Show – 12pm – 3pm Ranch Rodeo – 3pm Awards Presentation – Immediately following rodeo *Note: PCCA/UF/IFAS Extension/Polk BOCC are not responsible for items lost or stolen.
