Learn and watch how maple syrup turns into maple sugar with historian Jeff Pavlik! Join us for this fun outdoor experience! Travel back in time with sugar expert and historian, Jeff Pavlik, as you learn all the ins and outs of Maple Sugaring! Maple sugar was a superfood for native peoples of Michigan, and is still a treat today! This program includes your ticket to watch Maple Sugaring unfold before you in a live demonstration, as well as time for your questions, Jeff's historical fun facts, a souvenir just for you, and admittance to the Carnegie Center Museum for the day! This is going to be fun! Sunday, March 27th, 2022. Dress for the weather, as we will be using an open fire outside at our Kammer Cabin, behind the Carnegie Museum at 1115 6th Street, Port Huron MI Program begins at 1pm $10 per person $20 per family (up to 4 people)
