Tom Jordan, a news anchor and reporter for more than 20 years, will be the event keynote speaker with the theme: Respect Matters. Tom Jordan knows what it takes to be a news maker. He has worked as a news anchor and reporter for more than 20 years, and is currently hosting a show on WJR 760 AM. Mr. Jordan is the Founder and President of The Jordan Group, which provides media training and communications consulting for corporate executives, physicians, publicists, non-profit groups and just about anybody who plans to face the news media. In addition to leading the Public Relations department at a large Southern California agency, he is a three-time Emmy award winning broadcast journalist. Tom’s breadth of experience includes his news coverage of some of the nation’s biggest stories; multiple presidential campaigns; the deadly Southern California wildfires; breaking coverage for NBC News on the death of president Gerald Ford; the Winter Olympics; the downturn and then turn-around in the U.S. Economy; and much more. It has been said of Tom that he is a true professional, great storyteller, and a genuinely sincere person. He and his wife have four children and reside in the Detroit area.
