Canfield Consortium has partnered with Wayne State's MPA program have begun a project in the East Canfield Village, the Canfield Connect Located in Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A, Canfield Consortium has partnered with Wayne State students in the MPA program. The Canfield Connect project was selected as the recipient of 2021 Ford College Community Challenge and is funded by the Ford Motor Company Fund. The Canfield Connect, when completed, will connect the neighborhood to Brewer Park by using vacant lots to provide a walking path throughout the community. On April 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the project will be looking for volunteers to help clear the first two vacant lots that will start this walkway in 2-3 hour shifts.
