THURSDAY MORNING DOWNTOWN PROPERTY OWNER'S MEMBERSHIP MEETING WHEN: THURSDAY, March 10, 2022 WHERE: Luminary Hotel Work Shop (next to coffee bar) TIME: 8:00 A.M. SPEAKER: Matt Leger Project Manager PDS Architecture, Inc. Program: Hendry Street Pedestrian Mall Well its month three of 2022 and as announced at our last meeting we have an excellent group of talented individuals this year on your Board of Directors. What you did not know is that the board has elected new officers. The 2022 officers are: President – Nils Richter, Vice President – Steve Buckley, Secretary – Lisa Sbuttoni and Treasurer – Annalene Roehr. Please join me in thanking them for their willingness to lead us this year. You can look forward to a great year with these individuals in charge. I am pleased to announce our speaker for this month is Matt Leger. Matt graduated from Lawrence Technological University in 2008 and has received awards for his works in Architecture and Design almost every year since 2014. He has been Chairman of the City of Ft Myers Planning Board since 2019 and continues in that role this year as well. Matt is going to present a conceptual design of a pedestrian mall on Hendry Street that he recently presented to our City Council. Candidly I knew nothing about this until the other day and am looking forward to learning more about what is being reviewed and considered and encourage you to come listen, learn and ask questions about this possible new addition to our downtown. I know I speak for everyone on the board when I say, if you have a particular topic or speaker you would like to have considered please do reach out and let one of the board members know. But please keep in mind the topics and speakers are to be relevant to the Downtown corridor. We look forward to seeing each and every one of you this Thursday morning.
