WESTPORT, CT — A Bridgeport woman is accused of stealing her co-worker's credit card and using it to make purchases in Stamford, according to Westport police. In a news release, Police Lt. Dave Wolf said an employee of a business in Westport reported cash and a credit card stolen from her wallet on Sept. 14. The stolen card was then used to make purchases at locations in Stamford. A manager later reviewed store surveillance footage and saw another employee, Priscilla Vongkeomany, 18, of Bridgeport, rummaging through the employee's purse, Wolf said. Officers spoke with Vongkeomany, who admitted to stealing the items from her co-worker, Wolf said. On March 5, Vongkeomany was arrested by Danbury police and turned over to Westport officers. She was charged on a warrant with sixth-degree larceny and payment card theft and released after posting a $500 bond.
