SAN JOSE, CA — Two people were killed, and several others suffered life-threatening injuries in a stabbing attack Sunday night at a South Bay church where homeless people had been brought to get them out of the cold, San Jose police said. Officers responded at around 8:45 p.m. to the report of a stabbing attack at Grace Baptist Church, near the San Jose State University campus at 484 E. San Fernando Street, police said. Police said there were no services going on at the church at the time. Three others wounded in the attack are expected to survive, the report said.
