Lighthouse Storage is looking for a motivated, talented and reliable manager to perform maintenance and work inside the office at our self-storage facilities in Ft. Lauderdale (and, occasionally, Cooper City. You will serve as an invaluable member of our company by striving to build a clean, safe, and positive experience for our customers. Responsibilities · Manage the day-to-day operations of the site, working closely with the District Manager and your property Co-Manager · Perform maintenance such as changing light bulbs, fixing doors, painting, rental truck maintenance and other tasks (must have maintenance work experience or skills) · Develop customer relationships by identifying their storage needs and providing solutions · Guide new customers through rental processes and agreements · Ensure the facility meets the highest cleanliness standards. You accomplish this by cleaning units, sweeping, mopping, and other basic cleaning duties · On occasion, you may need to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds · Weekends required · Other duties as assigned Qualifications · 1 years of customer service, sales, retail or food service experience · Maintenance, repair or other related experience · Strong communication, math and computer skills · Valid Driver's License and auto insurance with access to reliable transportation · High School Diploma or GED equivalent Comprehensive Benefits Package · Outstanding company culture, including steady work hours and work/life balance · $500 retention bonus (paid after 90 days of employment) · Competitive starting pay · Health, dental, vision and life insurance offerings · Vacation and sick time accrued throughout the year, increasing with years of service
