Brought to you by the Newnan Carnegie Library, Newnan ArtRez, and the Newnan Carnegie Library Foundation, author and Newnan ArtRez Artist-in-Residence Kathryn Smith will bring the Roosevelt White House to life as she impersonates Marguerite "Missy" LeHand, FDR's private secretary and subject of her biography "The Gatekeeper." She will also talk about her newest book, "Baptists and Bootleggers: A Prohibition Expedition Through the South...with Cocktail Recipes," much of which focuses on Georgia. Light refreshments will be served.
