The following was submitted by the City of Melrose: MELROSE, MA –– Jitters Café will host this week's Good Morning with the Mayor, an initiative to support Melrose cafes, restaurants, and other local businesses, on Friday, March 11 from 8 — 9 a.m. Mayor Paul Brodeur invites community members to stop in during this time to catch up over a cup of coffee. Jitters Café, located at 12 Main Street, is the fifth stop on Brodeur's coffee shop tour that consists of visiting a different Melrose Cafe every Friday between 8 and 9 a.m. So far, the tour has provided community members and Brodeur with the opportunity to support La Qchara, Caffè Nero, Bitty & Beau's Coffee, and Ernie's Lunch. Jitters Café is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., and Saturday & Sunday 7 a.m. — 5 p.m. Mayor Brodeur encourages everybody to continue thinking local and support Melrose businesses, including the City's cafes and restaurants.
