HARLEM, NY — A man with a bleeding head wound died inside a supportive housing facility in Harlem Wednesday morning, police said. Police found the unconscious 47-year-old man at The Hannigan —a residence for low-income families, formerly homeless adults and people with mental illness — on West 127th Street near St. Nicholas Avenue and 10:40 a.m., the NYPD said. Emergency responders were unable to revive the man and he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. An NYPD spokesperson was unable to comment on the man's cause of death, or whether any suspects were being sought. The death remains under investigation.
