Press release from the City of Spokane: 2022-03-08 On 03-07-22 just before 10PM, SPD responded to a shooting incident in the area to the west of W 2nd and Maple St. Officers arrived and discovered an adult male who was deceased. Major Crimes Unit (MCU) detectives responded and are currently investigating. Initial information suggests an argument preceded the shooting. At least one suspect is outstanding, and detectives are following up on leads. Anyone with information about this incident, who has not spoken with investigators, is asked to call crime check at 509-456-2233 reference incident 2022-20038476.
