GREENWICH, CT — Power has almost been restored to all customers in Greenwich, according to Eversource's outage map.
As of 5:45 p.m., there were fewer than five customers without power, specifically in the northwest section of town near Riversville Road, and near Central Greenwich on North Street and North Maple Avenue. There is currently no estimated restoration time.
Nearly 100 customers were without power for most of Tuesday, following strong winds that impacted the area overnight.
Several roads in Greenwich were closed during the overnight hours because of downed trees or trees leaning on wires, according to the Greenwich 911 Dispatch twitter account.
According to the National Weather Service, winds are expected to calm down tonight into Wednesday.
