Let this metal drummer try your genre with you?

Hey all, I’m a drummer in some local metal bands, and I’ve had the idea to try collaborating with other musicians for some one-off genre expansion. I’d like to try to see if, for a moment, I can try playing styles way outside of my comfort zone. And I’d like to do this as a semi-occasional recurring video series! I would like people to come up with original songs in their native style, record them to a metronome, and send them to me to try my hand at them. If you are willing, you may also be included in the video playing your part of it! This will expand my personal portfolio (and mind), and of course, credit will be given and attention drawn to your personal outlets as well. Nothing will be uploaded without your written approval. So, if you play blues, jazz, new wave, neoclassical, Cuban son, Turkish saz, whatever… send me what you’ve got. I of course cannot play it all, and I may have to decline if I just can’t hack it. But I think this could be fun. Bonus points if you can throw tiny hints of metal in there to genre-bend. Musicians of all ethnic/religious/gender background welcome.
