Here are the top three stories today in Colorado Springs: A joint operation by the Colorado Springs Police Department, Colorado State Patrol, and the El Paso County Sheriff's Office recovered five stolen vehicles on Monday. The auto theft deployment effort brought new charges in four of the stolen vehicle cases. Click the link to see the seven people who were arrested during the deployment. (KRDO)A driver in Colorado Springs has been issued a citation for failing to properly clear ice off their windshield. The driver crashed their vehicle into a light pole while attempting to turn at Palmer Park and Lehmburg Boulevard. Thankfully nobody was injured during the collision. (Colorado Springs Gazette)The Colorado Springs Police Department arrested Michael Odell, 34, on charges of robbing multiple convenience stores. Odell allegedly made off with $300 from the robberies. Police are still searching for suspects in five other convenience store robberies that have occurred in Colorado Springs in the last five days.
