Press release from City of Fort Worth: March 08, 2022 Effective March 25, the Fort Worth Municipal Court will cease in-person operations at the Golden Triangle Library. According to Court Director William F. Rumuly, "for reasons including low utilization, success of Court in the Community events, virtual online service improvements and increased online payment capability, the Municipal Court has made the business decision to cease in-person services at the Golden Triangle Library." The space is planned to be repurposed by the Library as additional meeting space and a second passport office. All in-person municipal court proceedings will take place downtown in the newly renovated A.D. Marshall Public Safety & Courts Building, 1000 Throckmorton St. The court currently serves walk-in customers, including online, to see a judge. The court is exploring the potential to collaborate and co-locate with other city departments in the future to provide access to court services. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
