ANNAPOLIS, MD — Police announced that shots were fired Wednesday in Annapolis. Nobody was hurt, but officers said the gunfire damaged a home in the Eastport neighborhood. Authorities said they heard about the shots around 12:39 a.m. The first caller reported that the shots were fired near the intersection of Madison Street and President Street. A second caller told police her house was hit by bullets. Officers said they found shell casings in front of that home in the 1100 block of President Street. The shots broke windows and damaged the inside of the house. The Annapolis Police Department did not name any suspects or announce any arrests. Have a story idea?
